Skills development plan

The Skills Development Plan allows employees on permanent or fixed-term contracts to take training courses during their working hours, in partnership with their employer. This system is mainly financed by the company, with potential assistance from the OPCO for SMEs and VSEs. It aims to improve employees' skills and meet the company's strategic needs.

CPF
(Personal Training Account)

The CPF is accessible to employees on permanent or fixed-term contracts as well as to job seekers.
Beneficiaries can create an account on www.moncompteformation.gouv.fr , select and pay for their training via the CPF application. Training can be taken outside working hours at the initiative of the employee, or during working hours with the employer's agreement. Funding is provided by the CDC (Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations) and, if necessary, by top-ups in the event of insufficient credits.

Transition CPF

The Transition CPF is aimed at employees on permanent or fixed-term contracts who wish to change their job or profession. The steps include identifying suitable training, support from the CEP (Professional Development Council), and obtaining leave authorization from the employer. The training file is then put together with the training organization and sent to the CPIR for funding. The CPIR (Regional Interprofessional Joint Commission) funds this system.

Skills assessment

The Skills Assessment, eligible for the CPF (code 202), is intended for employees on permanent or fixed-term contracts and job seekers wishing to take stock of their career. The steps include choosing an assessment center, validation of the project by the CEP, and, for employees, authorization from the employer if the assessment is carried out during working hours. Funding can come from the employer, Pôle Emploi, or personal funds via the CPF.

VAE
(Validation of Acquired Experience)

VAE allows employees on permanent or fixed-term contracts and job seekers to validate their skills acquired through experience in order to obtain a diploma. The steps include defining the diploma sought, submitting the application file, verifying admissibility, financing the VAE, and preparing for the validation jury. Funding can be provided by the employer, Pôle Emploi, or via the CPF.

FNE
(National Employment Fund)

The FNE-Formation helps employees on short-time working or in companies in difficulty to adapt and support the economic recovery. The employer identifies a training course and submits the quote to the OPCO for validation. Funding by the OPCO varies depending on the company's situation.
